Our all new Sommet is a 170mm big hitting enduro bike, it features a redesigned carbon front triangle paired with an aluminium rear end. With revamped geometry and improved suspension kinematics our Sommet is ready to tackle the roughest trails there are, from big mountain alpine descents to steep technical enduro trails. We straightened the leverage curve and increased the progressivity to improve the small bump sensitivity, mid stroke support to keep you in control when the trails get rough. Along with improved geometry the new Sommet also has more seat post insertion which allows for a longer dropper post to be fitted. Basically our all new Sommet is better in every way. If you want a confidence inspiring Enduro bike that will help guide you down the roughest trails then the Sommet is for you.
Our flagship Sommet 29 CRX is ready for you to hit your trail of choice. The 29 CRX comes with 162mm of frame travel, matched with buttery smooth 170mm Fox 38 Factory GRIP2 forks paired with a Fox Float X2 Factory rear shock to keep you planted when the trails get rough. Shimano's high performance 1x12 wide range XT drivetrain provides reliable shifting for race day while the Shimano XT brakes provide ample stopping power on those long, steep descents.
Rolling on the high performance DT Swiss EX1700 wheels and a Maxxis Assegai / Minion DHR II tubeless ready tyre combo to provide confidence inspiring grip. Finished with Nukeproof components and a Brand-X Ascend dropper post you’ll have the confidence take your enduro riding to the next level with our Sommet 29 CRX.

Carbon First
By designing our new Sommet and Escarpe platforms in tandem we decided early on that we were going to focus on a Carbon front triangle only with a aluminium rear triangle. This gives the perfect blend of stiffness and compliance. We increased the tube volume in the front triangle to improve stiffness, giving better track holding and stability through the full size range.

Updated Geometry
We have updated the geometry to give a more confidence inspiring ride. Key changes are slacker head angles and lower BB drop. We have also steepened the effective seat tube angle and made it progressively steeper as you go up the size range. This ensures that each frame size has an optimal sagged saddle position with no compromise. By measuring saddle height at saddle lay back we looked at the position of the saddle relative to the bottom bracket to ensure when the bike was in sag you had an optimal pedaling position. The reason we steepened the seat angle on the larger frame sizes was to ensure that the saddle layback wasn't too far behind the bottom bracket.

Adjustable Geometry Flip Chip
The Escarpe comes with an adjustable flip chip to adjust your geometry as required. We have built and optimised the head angle and BB drop around the "low" setting. However the "high" setting allows you to increase head angle by + 0.5 degrees and lift the bottom bracket by 6mm. Giving you the option to tweak your ride depending on the terrain you're riding.
