Our all new Escarpe features a redesigned carbon front triangle paired with an aluminium rear end. With revamped geometry and improved suspension kinematics to ensure the Escarpe climbs efficiently on the way up and descends with playful confidence on the way back down, our all new Escarpe will take your riding to the next level. We straightened the leverage curve and increased the progressivity to improve the small bump sensitivity, mid stroke support to keep you in control when the trails get rough. Along with improved geometry the new Escarpe also has improved seat post insertion which allows for a longer dropper post to be fitted as standard ensuring you get the most comfortable riding position on the way up and back down. Basically our all new Escarpe is better in every way. If you want a confidence inspiring all mountain bike that can climb as well as a trail bike and descend like an enduro bike, then our Escarpe is for you.
Out of the box our Escarpe 27 CRS is ready to hit your trail of choice. The 27 CRS comes with 140mm of frame travel, matched with buttery smooth 150mm Rockshox Pike forks and a Rockshox Delux Select+ rear shock to keep you planted when the trails get rough. Shimano's 1x12 wide range SLX drivetrain provides reliable shifting for all day epics while the Shimano SLX brakes provide ample stopping power.
Rolling on the high performance DT Swiss M1900 wheels and a Maxxis Assegai / Dissector tubeless ready tyre combo to provide the right balance of grip and speed. Finished with Nukeproof components and a Brand-X Ascend dropper post you’ll have the confidence take your trail riding to the next level with our Escarpe 27 CRS.

Carbon First
By designing our new Sommet and Escarpe platforms in tandem we decided early on that we were going to focus on a Carbon front triangle only with a aluminium rear triangle. This gives the perfect blend of stiffness and compliance. We increased the tube volume in the front triangle to improve stiffness, giving better track holding and stability through the full size range.

Updated Geometry
We have updated the geometry to give a more confidence inspiring ride. Key changes are slacker head angles and lower BB drop. We have also steepened the effective seat tube angle and made it progressively steeper as you go up the size range. This ensures that each frame size has an optimal sagged saddle position with no compromise. By measuring saddle height at saddle lay back we looked at the position of the saddle relative to the bottom bracket to ensure when the bike was in sag you had an optimal pedaling position. The reason we steepened the seat angle on the larger frame sizes was to ensure that the saddle layback wasn't too far behind the bottom bracket.

Adjustable Geometry Flip Chip
The Escarpe comes with an adjustable flip chip to adjust your geometry as required. We have built and optimised the head angle and BB drop around the "low" setting. However the "high" setting allows you to increase head angle by + 0.5 degrees and lift the bottom bracket by 6mm. Giving you the option to tweak your ride depending on the terrain you're riding.
