The Vitus 24+ is specially designed junior trail bike that is optimized for improving stability, control and grip when your child begins to delve into the off-road world.

With a 6061 T6 alloy frame and fork based around geometry specifically designed to help improve balance and control, 2.6” Vee Rubber plus size tyres to help improve grip, stability and comfort without the added weight.

All this is then complimented by a pair of Tektro hydraulic Disc brake offering up quick and reliable stopping whilst being driven forward by a 7 Speed Shimano drivetrain.

Ready for action, this brilliant version is equipped with a Shimano 7 speed drivetrain with an Altus rear derailleur and thumb shifter. As a result, this drivetrain setup quickly gives your mini-rider a feel for larger, more experienced mountain biking from the very beginning. What's most impressive about this model is each component is perfectly sized and situated for smaller hands to make handling as easy as possible.

Tektro M290 hydraulic disc brakes with a 160mm 6 bolt lock rotor on the front and rear, offering high stopping power for tracks that you might not normally hit up.

Vitus wanted to make a mini trail bike without adding too much weight. As adults we don't like lugging around heavy bikes so why should our children have to suffer the same. To help do this on the 24+, Vitus sacrificed the suspension forks which is where most the weight is for a set of 2.6" tyres. Traditionally a 24" bike would use 1.75/2.0 tyres, using the 2.6" offers improved stability and grip whilst adding extra cushioning that is equivalent to 30mm of travel. Not to mention they look awesome!!
