The Vitus Venon EVO-RS Force AXS all-road bike has been named both the Road.cc 2024 road bike of the year and Overall Bike of the Year. Beating the likes of the S Works Tarmac SL8, and Giant’s new Defy Advanced.
This is in addition to the Bike Radar/Cycling Plus 2023 Endurance Bike of the Year and Overall Bike of the Year.
To say we’re happy is an understatement.
Again, the Venon EVO-RS has been recognised for how well it smartly balances performance and versatility.
Here’s what the team at Road.cc had to say.
“Top spot goes to the Vitus Venon EVO-RS Force AXS, an incredibly capable road machine with a forgiving ride and quick handling. There’s a twist, though. The huge bonus here is that, with the ability to take wide tyres, this bike has the versatility to take you on adventures well beyond the tarmac too. Two bikes for the price of one, then. Kind of!”
“This bike is responsive and eager to get a move on, and it’s a great climber too. The huge stiffness in the lower part of the frame, along with the lightweight build, means you get plenty of reward when you up the power. Hard accelerations feel great, and you won’t be left wanting if you take it on a club run.”
“The Venon EVO’s handling is a beautiful balance between efficiency and stability, and the frame and fork provide a plushness that lets you cover big miles in comfort.”
But the good news doesn't stop there, the Venon EVO-GR (gravel) came third in Road.cc’s Gravel Bike of the Year awards. Showcasing the platform's versatility as both set-up’s share the same frame.
Massive kudos has to be given to our in-house R&D and product teams for their relentless pursuit of producing bikes that give real, everyday riders access to performance.
