The Vitus Zenium Carbon Disc has won “Best in Test” in this month’s edition of Bikes ETC Magazine for bikes under £1000.
The Zenium Carbon Disc – which is a revision of our aluminum Zenium – is new for 2019. We wanted to re-evaluate our ‘all-rounder’ carbon road bike proposition for 2019, with some added modern features, and we wanted to try and bring the bike to a lower price point to a new audience.
We chose to go for a T700 UD carbon frame set, with ‘all-round’ geometry (not too racy and not too relaxed), to make the bike handle solidly in varying scenarios, whether the rider is commuting, criterium racing, club riding, or taking on a sportive of choice.

“When I first picked up the Zenium I didn’t pay much attention to the price or spec and just jumped on and rode it.
I was amazed at how nimble and lively the bike felt. I hit a decent, straight away I had confidence from the great performing disc brakes. I loved the handling – it felt relaxed, yet precise so it seems to iron out the road surface but at the same time, goes exactly where you point it.
