Lighter. Faster. Stronger. Better.
The Zircon 0.2 takes the concept behind its little brother the 0.1 and runs with it – a thoroughly modern take on the do-it-all hardtail mountain bike, matched with a carefully-chosen selection of high-quality parts to make a versatile package at a great value price.
Built around the same triple-butted, heat-treated 7.46 aluminium alloy frame as its namesake, the Zircon 0.2 however ups the ante when it comes to specifications, with a Rockshox Recon RL fork offering 120mm of buttery smooth travel up front, a robust but lightweight WTB wheelset for snappy acceleration and Avid Elixir 5 brakes for precise application of stopping power.
Once again we’ve opted for a 20-speed transmission with the Zircon 0.2, making us among the first manufacturers of production mountain bikes to ride the wave of what we believe is the future of MTB gearing. The latest generation Truvativ X9 2×10 crankset and 10-speed cassette, in combination with the new SRAM X9 rear mech makes for cleaner, crisper shifting, lighter weight and a a better ratio of gears for the off-road biker.
Highlights such as the above however don’t mean corners cut elsewhere on the spec sheet. The Zircon 0.2 comes fully kitted out with Truvativ Stylo finishing kit, WTB Pure V saddle and WTB Prowler 2.1 tyres for the maximum balance of comfort and performance.Zircon.
