The Sean Kelly LTD Edition is our flagship road bike designed in collaboration with Vitus brand ambassador Sean Kelly, the most successful Vitus rider in the proud history of the marque and the man regarded by many as the finest Classics rider of all time.
For 2013 we introduce the Sean Kelly VRi, boasting an 11-speed Shimano Dura Ace Di2 groupset.
Featuring the same lightweight monocoque carbon frame, Mavic Ksyrium SLS wheelset and Kelly’s own preference of 3T Pro finishing kit as the Sean Kelly LTD Edition.

Lightweight T700 HM-UD Carbon Frame – 950g Frame Weight – UCI Approved
Our lightweight high-modulus uni-directional carbon frames are manufactured using T700 HM-UD carbon to combine light weight and impeccable handling with just the right balance of stiffness and vertical compliance. Complemented by a matching HM-UD carbon fork with tapered steerer for reduced road buzz and precise handling, even on broken surfaces.
The frame features ‘classic’ racing angles and a distinctive black and green livery to reflect the Irish heritage and sporting record of Kelly, who notched 80% of his 193 professional victories astride a bike bearing the Vitus badge, most notably the iconic aluminium-framed Vitus 979 which he rode with distinction in several Tours de France.
Shimano Dura Ace Di2 groupset
Shimano have given their groundbreaking Dura Ace Di2 groupset a complete overhaul and have redesigned many aspects of the original system to bring a new and improved Dura Ace 9070 Di2 11-speed groupset enabling precise, lightning-fast shifts with the click of a button.
The latest Dura Ace Di2 iteration features improved ergonomics and feedback, slimmer single-wire E-tube connections and neat features such as automatic crash protection for the now lighter and more compact rear mech, and automatic trimming for the front derailleur, preventing chain rub.
The Seán Kelly VRi features an externally mounted battery for the downtube with up to 2000km battery life when fully charged. The Di2 system also features a computer interface for fine-tuning, customisation and diagnostics either via PC or using a flight-deck device.
Meanwhile a compact 50t x 34t Dura Ace crankset – featuring Shimano’s new four-arm spider – and 11-25t cassette offer a wide gear range suitable for club racing and training or hilly sportive events.
Braking duties are also courtesy of Shimano Dura Ace, with the new 9000 symmetrical dual-pivot callipers offering improved efficiency, control and modulation.
The race-proven pedigree of the Seán Kelly VRi is complemented with Kelly’s own choice of 3T Pro stem, bars and seatpost for a balance of light weight and high performance.

The Mavic Yksion tyres are the perfect match for grip in all conditions and low rolling resistance making for a great race day tyre that has the durability to take on midweek training rides as well.
A custom Prologo Scratch Pro saddle completes the build kit with comfort and unique styling which sets this bike apart from the opposition.
